Apple AirPods Pro 2 go official with 30h battery and improved ANC

The new Apple Watches and the iPhone 14 series certainly were the stars of Apple's Far Out conference. However, the company also took the opportunity to unleash the new AirPods Pro. The new AirPods Pro 2 continues the legacy of the company's premium true-wireless earbuds that come to "offer" more than just a simple "earphone experience". The new earbuds come with compelling features, improved ANC, and outstanding battery life.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 key features

The new Apple AirPods Pro 2 comes with significant improvements for the Spatial Audio feature. It will a offer richer immersive audio experience. Part of this important improvement comes in the H2 chip. It's responsible for the audio management in the new hearables. According to Apple, the new H2 chip is based on computational Audio and offers massive improvements. Furthermore, it will also increase the battery life. According to the company, the new AirPods can continuously play music for 6h with a single charge. That amount goes an up to extra 30h when you combine it with the case.

The Active Noise Cancellation feature is also getting improvements in the new generation. Again, the improvement comes through the new H2 chip. According to Apple, noise reduction is two times improved when compared to the previous generation.

When it comes to the visual, the design remains intact when we compare it to the previous generation. However, on the other hand, the new AirPods Pro 2 got new gesture controls. For instance, you swipe up or down in the touch-sensitive part to raise or reduce the volume of your audio. The earbuds also come with a new tip option, the XS (Extra Small). The case also got some improvements. Now it has a small "handle" that allows you to attach the case to some accessories, for example. Another cool addition is the possibility to charge the case through the Apple Watch charger, MagSafe Charger, or Qi charger.

Another update is that the case also comes with its own speaker in the bottom part. This speaker is used for battery management. Moreover, it will allow you to find the case through the App "Find My". Interestingly, each earbud can also be found individually.

The Apple AirPods Pro 2 will retail for around $249. The pre-orders will begin on September 9 while the actual sales will open on September 23.
