The new CHUWI MiniBook is a very interesting pocket laptop model, which is currently enjoying quite a successful crowdfunding Indiegogo campaign. And the makers prepared for a special event today as a thank you for all the fans backing up the project, because you have a chance to get a memory upgrade from 8 GB RAM to 16 GB RAM for a very small price. That's a pretty juicy add-on and everyone considering buying the nifty gadget should pay attention to it.
CHUWI MiniBook wis sporting just an 8-inch IPS touchscreen, but it will be fully adjustable with 360-degree rotation similar to the YOGA models so will be usable in both laptop/tablet mode. Inside we can find the latest Intel Core M3-8100Y / Celeron N4100 processor supported by 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB eMMC memory, but with a free M.2 SSD NVMe slot it would be a shame to keep it empty. And despite the tiny size the makers managed to force in ultra-narrow border full sized keyboard. The battery will be also pretty impressive with 26,6Wh capacity and charging through fully functional USB Type-C port is fast with PD 2.0 fast charging.
The promo is available starting today June 26th from 12:00 UTC and you can get this bonus add-on only for the MiniBook version equipped with the Intel Core M3-8100Y processor. There will be 50 pieces of the 16 GB RAM upgrade for just $10, then 100 pieces for $20 followed by 300 pieces for $30 and finally some extra 200 pieces for $35. More or less all of these offers are a bargain so make sure to visit the Indiegogo website and claim it, while the stocks last.
