It was a very close call but foldable smartphones emerged as one of the innovations that might trend this year. However, there are two major questions that have faced the development of foldable phones since its inception

Many netizens do not see the need for them to fold their smartphone display. There is also no real need to have a tablet that folds into a smartphone. Nevertheless, the smartphone industry is highly dynamic and the competition is forcing OEM's to release all sorts of innovations.
