Honor V10 is receiving a new update that fixes a critical system stability issue

The Honor V10 is aging well at least when it comes to receiving software support. The handset originally came with Android 8 Oreo in December 2017 and was later updated to EMUI 9.1 last year. This year, the handset got an Android 10-based EMUI 10 update and now the Chinese company is rolling out an update that addresses a critical stability issue. It's a minor update weighing just 2.08MB, but according to Huawei, it's an important one.

Unfortunately, the changelog fails to give deep details about these "critical" issues. It just mentions that update comes to address problems with the performance stability and recommends users to install it as soon as possible. Moreover, it clearly mentions that the update won't delete user data, but recommend users to perform backups before installing it. After all, they can't predict unexpected errors. Last but not least, the company asked users to contact Honor via helpline number of Honor club app if they find any issue with the firmware.

Worth noting that this update is currently reaching only the Chinese variants of the Honor V10. However, it will be just a matter of time until it arrives for global variants. Once you get the OTA notification, download and install this update as soon as possible.
