Huawei Honor 7 Announced at 599 Yuan

After launching the Honor 7X, 7C, and 7A, Huawei came in with the last member of Honor 7 series. The Huawei Honor 7 is the most introductory model of this line. However, as it was released quietly, we have to take a closer look at its key features.

Like its siblings, the Huawei Honor 7 uses a minimalist design. The back is curved on all edges. That’s why the phone fits in the palm perfectly and provides a delicate feel. The thickness of the body is 8.3mm. There are two color options to choose from – blue and gold.

Surprisingly, this low-end smartphone comes with a trendy display. The Huawei Honor 7 is packed with a 5.45-inch full-screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440x720 resolution. This screen also supports eye mode, three-finger screenshot, double-click wake-up, etc. Unfortunately, there is no fingerprint scanner.

In terms of configuration, the Huawei Honor 7 comes with a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The SoC is paired with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via the TF card slot.

The rest of features include a 13MP rear camera supporting PDAF, 4x digital zoom, HDR, a 5MP front camera adopting MEI Beauty, a 3020mAh battery, WiFI 2.4GHz 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. What we liked more is the independent three-card slot like the Honor 7C. So you can insert two SIM cards as well as a microSD card. Of course, the phone supports dual-card dual-standby 4G at the LTE Cat.4.
