Since 2019, Huawei has slowed down the pace of launching new smartphones. It’s logical – the company is under sanctions. At that time, many users hurried to bury Huawei, thinking it had no chance of surviving. But Huawei is a die hard. Though its market share has shrunk a lot, it still stays afloat. After the P50 and Mate 50 series, the next stop for Huawei is the Huawei P60 series. It’s been the talk of the town for many months.
Huawei P60 Features
Not long ago, we got some leaks concerning the biggest highlights of the Huawei P60 Pro. It turns out that the latter will come with the second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship processor. But the chip will support a 4G network only. Anyway, there shouldn’t be other shortcomings but the lack of 5G connectivity. For instance, the Huawei P60 will still come with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone should have a 6.6-inch screen with 2K resolution and support a 120Hz high refresh rate. From a render, we can see that this is a hyperbolic screen using a centered pill-hole design.
In terms of imaging, the Huawei P60 Pro should have a rear 50MP main camera sensor, a 40Mp lens, and a 48Mp periscope telephoto lens. On the opposite side, the handset will carry a 32MP selfie lens.
The Huawei P60 Pro will also add the Beidou satellite communication function. This function is not a common function for most ordinary users. But once they appear in an extreme situation, satellite communication can open up an emergency channel. It will protect the personal safety of users.
In addition, the new phone will have a built-in 5000mAh battery. The latter will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Among other highlights, we can mention an X-axis linear motor, infrared remote control, and IP68 dustproof and waterproof rating.
