iQOO 11 Pro spotted at Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Vivo is gearing up to introduce the iQOO 11 series soon. We already know these phones will appear first on December 2 in Malaysia. The lineup will bring a vanilla iQOO 11 5G, and an iQOO 11 Pro 5G. Today, the Pro model was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark. The phone runs with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 just like the vanilla. It will be one of the first phones with the new SoC, but not the first, as Vivo itself already achieved this with the Vivo X90 Pro+.

The iQOO 11 Pro benchmark comes to confirm the chipset, and also to show at least one variant of the phone. After all, we already know the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 performance. The phone scores 1,466 points in the Single-Core tasks and 4,686 in the multi-core department. That is the usual score for the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The Geekbench benchmark also confirms a variant with 16 GB of RAM. We believe this is the highest model, and another variant with 12 GB of RAM is also on the cards. The handset will run Android 13 from day one with Funtouch OS 13 running atop. This particular variant is for the Indian market with I2212.

The iQOO 11 series may not bring the first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, they might be the first phones to bring this chipset to global markets. The Vivo X90 series is only in China right now. Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 13 or 14 series soon, and they will reach India first. Even Motorola will launch its Motorola X40 in China first. The iQOO 11, on the other hand, will reach Malaysia on December 2.
