Honor Magic 2 Sliding Phone Shows Up in Video Teaser

It appears as Xiaomi with their upcoming Mi MIX 3 isn't the only company working to release a smartphone with a sliding mechanism this month. Chinese phone maker Honor did indeed just tease everybody with a video that shows the design of the next Honor Magic 2 and how the sliding mechanism works; not that it was hard to imagine.

Nonetheless, let's check out the video down below!

As we saw in the video, the way the Honor Magic 2 will work is pretty straight forward and really reminds us of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. Both phones will indeed have a quite cool sliding mechanism which brings down the screen - or up the cameras, depending on the point of view - which let the user both the front cameras along with an array of sensors.

According to Honor's president, the Magic 2 is, in fact, going to be really smart and use AI to help users have a better experience. Plus we assume it'll also pack a sensor for face recognition, which would be the icing on the cake.
