While mobile photography (photos taken on a smartphone) has become a standard for images shared online, we still can't say the same about videos. The latter did indeed not see too much of an improvement over the past few years, if only for the possibility of shooting slow-mo, which mostly due to the more powerful SoC that are able to process more data in a short period of time.
One of the few companies that have really focused on bringing a better video experience to their users is LG with their V30 sporting what they call "Cine Video". This features allows the smartphone to shoot in "log" which then lets you add different light and color presets to customize the video look to your liking.
We of course expect to find the same functionality on the LG V40, but according to the latest teaser, that won't be the only neat on-board feature. The handset is indeed going to come with a camera mode called "Cine Shot", this mode basically allows you to create a GIF where part of the image moves while the rest stays still.
You can check out how it works in the video below:
LG says that this feature works thanks to the three cameras on the back of the phone, whether this is true it's really hard to tell without putting our hands on an unit.
What do you guys think about this Cine Shot mode? Do you find it useful or just a gimmick? Let us know down below!
