Huge competition in the Chinese phone market means some really great pricing for Chinese tech fans. Today another large battery phone has seen a price cut from $139.99 to just $99.99.
The Mlais MX Base smartphone is the big battery beast of the Mlais range. At 4300mAh, the batter in the MX Base isn't the largest we have seen in a smartphone this year, but it is certainly bigger than anything we have seen in a phone costing just $99.99!
Mlais originally built the MX Base to cost $140, so specs are pretty generous now that the cost has been dropped by $40. Those specifications include a 64bit Mediatek MT6735 chipset, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE dual SIM, micro SD card, Android 5.1 and 8 mega-pixel main camera. The MX Base supports FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz and 3G WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, for those of you thinking to pick the device up.
With a 4300mAh battery you should be looking at least 2 days of battery life from the 5-inch 720p smartphone, plus with USB OTG you can also use the battery to charge other devices. There is even an IR blaster on the phone to add further functionality.
