2 months after the release of the Xiaomi Mi Pad, Xiaomi have released the 64GB version of the world’s first Nvidia Tegra K1 tablet.
On paper the Mi Pad is an impressive little tablet with hardware which wold suit tablets costing a lot more money. In use the 7.9-inch Retina tablet is a little flyer thanks to the Tegra K1 processor and 2GB RAM, although you will want to keep a good grip on it while gaming as the glossy rear can be quite slippy.
The current Mi Pad has 16GB of internal for 1499 Yuan, and now the 64GB version is on sale in China for just 1699 Yuan. The question you have to ask though is why would anyone want the 64GB version when both models have room for 128GB SD cards? Surely 3G or 4G would be more compelling features to offer?
