Amazfit Bip 3 quietly unveiled with SpO2, GPS and more
Amazfit has just unveiled its highly-anticipated Amazfit Bip 3 in the Brazilian market. That was a surprising release, and even the choice for Brazil stands as a big surprise. However, this seems to be part of Huami's recent move to popularize wearables in Latin America. The launch was quiet and the device is yet to hit other markets in Asia and Europe. However, given the importance of this smartwatch for Amazfit's portfolio, we're pretty sure it's just a matter of time until it lands in other markets.
Amazfit has just brought the new Amazfit Bip 3 smartwatch to the Brazilian market. The smartwatch debuts with a large AMOLED screen, long battery life, and several features to accompany users in various activities.
The first highlight of the Amazfit Bip 3 is the new 1.69-inch AMOLED display. It comes with 2.5D tempered glass adding to the premium feel. Moreover, the wearable's touchscreen has a special coating that prevents fingerprints, according to the company. The panel is considerably larger than the Amazfit Bip S, as result, the user can see notifications, messages, and recorded data with greater clarity. The Amazfit Bip 3 features more than 50 watch faces. There are also options that can be customized by the Zepp app.
A Lifestyle companion
Amazfit Bip 3 offers several features that help to keep track of users' health. The smartwatch has sensors that record heart rate, stress level, and sleep quality. For the female audience, it can help you to track the menstrual cycles. Another highlight is the sensor that measures the level of oxygen in the blood (SpO2). According to the manufacturer, the watch checks the person's saturation and the result is reported in up to 25 seconds. It allows you to quickly check your data during moments of fatigue if your oxygenation is correct. This feature has been trending since the worst days of COVID-19 and has become a key feature of good smartwatches.
For Sports practitioners, the Amazfit Bip 3 can track up to 60 physical activities. The list includes activities such as walking, running, cycling, yoga and swimming. Moreover, the wearable offers a Target Pace function that helps you set goals and targets for workouts. The PAI Health feature, common in Amazfit watches, also collaborates in the assessment of health and fitness based on daily activities. Then, algorithms analyze the data and turn it into scores.
GPS and Long-standing battery
The Amazfit Bip 3 has been updated with an integrated high-precision GPS that tracks the user's every move. This and other information can then be shared with smartphone health and training apps via a quick Bluetooth connection. The device has a reinforced body and resistance of up to 5 ATM of pressure, which means that it resists dives of up to 50 meters. Therefore, it's suitable for swimmers and other physical activities in freshwater. The wearable is also lightweight with just 120 grams of weight.
Finally, the smartwatch has a 280 mAh battery capacity. According to the brand, it can last up to 14 days on just one charge.
Pricing and Availability
The Amazfit Bip 3 is 5ATM water-resistant and comes in black, pink, and blue colorways. The wearable retails on Amazon Brazil for BRL 279 which translates to around $58. The pricing and availability in other regions are yet to go, official.
The company may be busy in India with sales of the GTS Mini and the launch of the premium Amazfit GTR, but it's just a matter of time until the new affordable model arrives there.
