Antutu screenshots confirm killer specs for the iOcean Z1

Antutu screenshots and a first live photo show the iOcean Z1 and what it will have to offer once it goes on sale later this month.

Antutu as a benchmarking tool might slowly be going out of fashion but as a means to prove specifications of an upcoming device it can still be quite effective. To confirm the flagship specs of their upcoming killer phone, iOcean have posted screenshots from Antutu on Facebook showing the super high screen resolution and powerful Mediatek chipset.

From Antutu we can see the resolution is showing as 1440 x 2560, or more commonly referred to as 2K. If iOcean are fast they could have one of the few Mediatek powered 2K phones on the market and resolution to rival that of top of the range LeTV, Nubia and Meizu devices.

The screenshots also confirm that the phone will use an octacore Mediatek MT6795 chipset running a 1.9Ghz and will get Android 5.1 too. For those of you who cannot read Chinese the specs go on to confirm an 8 mega-pixel front camera and a 21 mega-pixel rear.

These details along with the stylish design of the iOcean Z1 really catapult the phone in to a new league. What do you think of the latest iOcean and current iOcean phones? is iOceans slow and steady method of launch going to win over Elephone’s shock and awe efforts?
