Dashcam manufacturer Azdome have just launched a new camera named Azdome DAB211, which features some quite good hardware and a really simple design. If you were looking for this kind of accessory for your car then keep reading!
The Azdome DAB211 is powerful little machine equipped with an Ambarella A12 chip and an OV4689 image sensor that will allow you to record sharp 2560x1440 (HDR) videos at 30fps and take photos at up to 16MP resolution. The dashcam also comes with a wide 170-degree lens which will cover most of the area in front of the car.
The DAB211 sports a built-in GPS module to locate your car if it gets stolen or you forgot where you've parked it, a parking mode, night vision mode, ADAS — an advanced image recognition software that should help you drive safe and a G-sensor to automatically start recording after a collision.
The dashcam also features ventilation holes to keep it cooler while recording and a 2.31-inch LTPS display on the back.
