Bluboo Xtouch news today tells us that the new phone has had an increase in internal memory, will feature a unique SIM tray and also shows us another early spy photo of the device.
Our sources at Bluboo have released a few sneak pics of the upcoming Bluboo Xtouch. A new rear photo shows a curved rear panel similar to the pack of the Xiaomi Mi Note (but in a Samsung blue finish), specifications update and the development of a new SIM tray.
Over the past few weeks we have learned the Bluboo Xtouch will come with a MT6753 chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13 mega-pixel Sony camera and 5-inch FHD display from JDI. However, a new document dated from the 10th October shows that internal storage has now been increased and the phone will come with 32GB memory! Hurray!
Another detail revealed today is the use of a very unique 3-in-1 SIM/SD memory card tray. Most current unibody phones use a SIM tray that is limited to a maximum of 2 x SIM cards, with some designs allowing one SIM to be switched to an SD memory card (leaving you with 1 x SIM and 1 x SD). The tray in the Bluboo Xtouch is a little more versatile though and will allow the user to use dual SIM cards and a micro SD card simultaneously. It’s a great touch, to an often overlooked area of phone design.
Unfortunately our latest leaks don’t give us any inclination of when to expect the Bluboo Xtouch to launch or the reseller price, and so the wait continuous!
