CHUWI LarkBox X mini PC upgraded to AMD Ryzen 7 3750H

CHUWI Mini PC models usually boast a stylish design paired with high-performance and professional features. Alongside great end-user experience for office and business, gaming or home entertainment purposes. And now they have re-released the LarkBox X model, a mini-PC that was originally launched in February 2022. Initially, the mini-PC arrived for US$439 running Windows 10 Home and sportingAMD Ryzen 7 3700U APU, along with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Now, CHUWI upgraded the LarkBox X processor to more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 3750H. Compared to the similar Ryzen 7 3700U, the 3750H offers a 20W higher TDP and better performance under long load periods. The integrated dual-channel memory controller supports up to DDR4-2400 memory too.

The Picasso SoCs use the Zen+ microarchitecture with slight improvements, leading to 3% IPS (performance per clock) improvements. Furthermore, the 12nm process allows higher clock rates at similar power consumptions. AMD states that the Picasso APUs are also about 8% faster than their predecessors. Including the 35 Watt TDP, the 3750H should be a capable upper mid-range processor for wide variety of purposes.

Larkbox X Gaming Mini PC originally adopted the Intel AC7265 wireless model too. Which supported a 2.4G/5G wireless connection with 5G bandwidth oup to 867Mbps. New upgrade throws in the AMD RZ608 WIFI 6, which goes up to 1.2 Gbps and relies on 80MHz bandwidth. The new version of the Larkbox mini PC's Type-C port supports data transmission and DP extension and does not support PD fast charging. Other product parameters remain unchanged.
