Chuwi RZBOX 2022 is the new upcoming high-performance mini PC specially designed for game enthusiasts. It brings powerful performance with future fast technologies to power everyday computing. Chuwi RZBOX 2022 version is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU with Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics. Following that, there is also 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM onboard and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Except for the CPU upgrade, the model is the same as the previous generation in design. More importantly, the price also remains unchanged, with 16GB+512GB variant only for $699.
The AMD R7 5800H processor uses a 7nm process, Zen3 core architecture with 8 cores. The number of threads is 16, the base frequency is 3.2GHz and the acceleration frequency is 4.4GH. Its GPU needs are handled by Radeon RX Vega 8 with 8 CUs, 16 MB L3 cache and just 45W TDP. Compared with the previous generation of RZBOX, which uses AMD RYZEN 9 4900H, there is a significant improvement in performance. And it went up by more than 15% in the single-thread and multi-thread benchmark tests.
AMD RYZEN 7 5800H has been already used in gaming laptops and the market has verified its powerful multi-core performance. But the long-term performance sustainability of a mobile CPU tends to depend heavily on the cooling system performance and TDP settings of a laptop. The AMD Ryzen 7 is a marvel of a processor, with its unbelievably high scores no matter the benchmark. It trades blows easily with the likes of Core i9-10980HK and Core i9-11900H. Needless to say, 5800H will be able to chew through pretty much any workload imaginable for years to come.
High-end features all around
The new Chuwi's gaming mini PC comes with built-in 16GB DDR4 memory for SODIMM 3200MHz withg dual-channel expansion slots supporting upgrade up to 64GB(not included). And the installed 512GB NVMe SSD drive supports PCI Express 3.0 high-speed transfer protocol, with read & write speeds over 2000MB/S. You can expand the storage via the dual 2280 M.2 slot up to 2TB.
The connection options are provided by the most advanced AMD RZ608 WIFI module, which supports WiFi-6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1. The port setup is the same as in the previous generation. The Chuwi RZBOX 2022 small mini PC has a very silent fan too . It has a built-in high-efficiency copper tube cooling fan with a built-in brushless motor and three-dimensional air circulation to dissipate heat for continuous high-performance operation and a quiet CPU at all times. Even when under heavy load it keeps being almost silent too.
Powerful beast for a great price
Currently, there is only the high-end 16GB+512GB version and the price is kept at $699. Chuwi will launch a low-end version in the future too, probably with Ryzen 5 4600H or AMD Ryzen 5 5600H. For more information about it you can always check the Chuwi's official website.
