This week K-touch launched a new brand with a new flagship smartphone, which has now been confirmed to support both TD-SCDMA and WCDMA networks.
The Nibiru Mars H1 might have a silly name, but the price and specification is far from laughable. Costing a mere 998 Yuan in China ($165), the Mars H1 not only packs the latest 1.7Ghz Mediatek Octacore processor, but also 2GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear and even a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display!
At the time of launch it was only clear that the Nibiru Mars H1 would support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA, however today the company confirmed this low-cost super phone will also work on WCDMA 3G networks too.

The first day of sales for the Mars H1 in China is the 24th March, we expect whatever stock K-touch have prepared is not going to be enough to satisfy demand.
