Cube are another Chinese tablet maker who have chosen 2016 as the year they scale up and build their own Surface rival. See the Cube i9.
Unveiled yesterday, the Cube i9 looks very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, even down to the integrated stand on the rear and keyboard/dock.
Like the iPad Pro and Chuwi Hi12, Cube have gone big with the Cube i9 giving the tablet a large 12.2-inch display. Resolution (1920 x 1200) is less than the other two tablets though, but this should help with overall performance.
Intel deliver the processing goods and the Cube i9 uses a 6th generation Intel Skylake processor, with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. If you need more space there is also room for a micro SD card.
As Cube intend the i9 to be used in a product manner the tablet also has a suite of ports including a full size USB 3.0 and even a Type C 3.1 port.
The Cube i9 is priced at 2999 Yuan in China, making it around $200 more expensive than the Chuwi Hi12. No confirmed release date yet, but full details can be found on the official Cube website here.
