Apparently, Elephone aren't done with comparing the upcoming Elephone S8 to the super popular Xiaomi Mi MIX. So, today they're comparing their handset on the hardware they know is better than the competition, we're talking about the display. The Elephone S8 will indeed feature an 6-inch display with 2K resolution vs the 6.44" Full HD screen on Xiaomi's handset.
That said, how could they compare the two devices in a fair way? Well, according to Elephone screenshots taken on both smartphones will be the proof you need. So, let's check some of them out down below.
In the images above you can see what you probably expected, the screenshots grabbed on the Elephone S8 are sharper, what a shocker! Obviously images taken at 2560*1440 resolution will have higher definition than those snapped at 2040*1080. Nonetheless, it's really exciting to see such an high res display on a 6-inch device, the reading experience should be one of the best you can have, as text will be clearer and easier to read (check samples below).
Another cool feature about the Elephone S8 is its screen-to-body ratio, which is 92.4% against Xiaomi's MIX with a 91.3%.
Under the hood the Elephone S8 will be equipped with a deca-core Mediatek Helio X25 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, so you should expect a really smooth user experience.
