Young upstart Elephone have sent us details of their octacore flagship smartphone, the Elephone P9 Water.
Elephone are one of the youngest phone brands, but they also happen to be one of the fastest moving. The company has been fast to launch new devices with great designs, something which they have continued with the flagship Elephone P9.
Like so many Chinese phone makers, Elephone have decided to make their top-of-the-range phone a thin, yet powerful device. The 5.9mm Elephone P9 Water isn’t the thinnest phone on the market, but Elephone have told us that this was intentional so that the 2100mAh battery can be easily removed and replaced. The battery bay is also where you will find space for dual SIM card slots and up to 64GB SD memory cards.
A 5-inch 1280 x 720 display is also a nice choice for a slim phone in that it offers HD quality, but is less of a drain that a full 1080p unit. The processor is the hugely popular 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore which supports both WCDMA and GSM networks and bring WIFI, GPS and Bluetooth features to the phone, and 2GB RAM means multitasking will be a breeze.
