$310 might sound a tad steep for a phone you have never heard of, but the chaps of at Engadget seem to be mightily impressed by the Foxconn made device.
The Xiaomi as it is known in China is available in either a 1.2Ghz or 1.5Ghz dual core configuration and is said to be similar to a smaller HTC Sensation in feel.

Final production models of the Xiaomi will go on sale in October, meaning it will be going head to head with the iPhone 5, Oppo X309 and Meizu MX!
