Screen real estate is 8 inches, which is still a rather unique size when compared to the more common 10 and 7 inch units. Resolution is pretty good to, at 1024 x 768, which means media, games and the web all appear nice, bright and crisp.
Power comes from a rather large 5600mAh battery, and storage by way of a 4Gb flash chip.

Overall gaming performance is rather good, with 3d graphics rendering well and games running at a fast pace.
[caption id="attachment_5157" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Video playback is also impressive"][/caption]
It also comes as no surprise that the Upad easily streams Flash video without hiccuping , and plays HD video without skipping a beat.

Performance and power is backed up by the Upad’s Quadrant scores where it clocked a very repeatable 2121!
Overall the Upad looks like a great device, and would look even better, was it not for the rather bland external design!
The Upad is due to go on sale soon at around 1200 yuan ($185)
