Google Pixel 2 Issues Expands: Poor Audio In Video Recordings

The issues with the recently released Google Pixel 2 seems to be growing daily. After reports of a clicking sound and screen burn-in, fresh complaints suggests that the quality of audio in video recordings is below par. The low-quality audio in the video recording seems to affect the background noise more. From the videos below, you can observe that the sound of running water was very clear initially and after a while, the quality changed for the worse before returning to normalcy towards the end of the clip

To be sincere, this isn't much of a problem and this can probably be fixed via a software update. The problem is not causing a fuss yet but a thread has been opened for it on Google's Support Forum and Google has confirmed the issue and promised a fix.

The real cause of the problem is not known yet but it is possible that its algorithm for echo/noise cancellation is being too aggressive. Have it in mind that this issue is not observed in all audios and it is possible that only select devices will experience this.
