The Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphones have been spotted on the REL Canada certification website. The much-awaited Google Pixel 7 series' launch will take place in mid-October. The search engine giant confirmed its plan to launch the lineup this fall at the Google I / O conference. Regrettably, the exact launch date is still a mystery. Nevertheless, the Pixel flagship series will comprise at least two smartphones.

The upcoming Google Pixel 7 series will include the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. Now, Google is sparing no effort to create hype around the upcoming Pixel smartphones. The company has already teased a myriad of features of the upcoming devices. Further, Google has given us a glimpse into the devices' awe-inspiring design ahead of launch. Now, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones have passed through the REL Canada certification website.
Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7 Pro Gets REL Canada Certification
The listing confirms the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro monikers. Moreover, it reveals the model numbers of the upcoming Pixel devices. In the meantime, Google is still mum on the official launch date of the Pixel 7 series smartphones. As per the REL Canada certification, the Pixel 7 carries model numbers GQML3 and GVU6C. Likewise, the Pro model has the model numbers GE2AE and GP4BC.

Regrettably, the listing only confirms the model numbers of the two devices. However, the two handsets recently appeared on the FCC certification website. The listing revealed the 5G bands the Pixel 7 series smartphones will feature. Past leaks claim that the Pixel 7 will not get a major redesign. The Pro model will house three rear-mounted cameras. However, the Pixel 7 will feature a dual rear camera setup. Google did not reveal the specs of the cameras, but some reports suggest the phones will get a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide sensor.
The Pro model could feature a 48MP telephoto lens as well. Also, an earlier report suggests that the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will come pre-installed with the Android 13 OS. A hands-on video of the Pixels 7 series by Unbox Therapy showcases the prototype handset design. Further, the Pro variant could sport a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the vanilla model could feature a 6.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the devices are likely to pack the upcoming Google Tensor chip.
