Details about the Google Pixel Fold foldable phone's display specifications have surfaced online ahead of launch. If rumors making the rounds online are anything to go by, Google is on the verge of unveiling its first-ever foldable smartphone.

Furthermore, some reports suggest the purported foldable device will carry the Google Fold moniker. Regrettably, a new report suggests the Pixel Fold isn't likely to launch in 2022. According to DSCC CEO Ross Young, Google Pixel Fold will launch in Q1 2023.

Google Pixel Fold Display Specifications

A developer has confirmed to 91mobiles that Samsung will make the display for Google's first foldable phone. Notably, the Google Pixel Fold is not likely to see the light of day this year. However, there's no dearth of key details about the upcoming foldable smartphone.

For instance, leaked design renders suggest the Pixel Fold will draw inspiration from the Oppo Find N for its design. Now, the latest leak suggests the Pixel Fold will come with Samsung-made internal and external displays. Furthermore, the folding display will reportedly offer a 1840×2208 pixels resolution.

Moreover, the folding screen's dimensions are 123mm x 148mm. According to the report, the screen will deliver 1200 nits of peak brightness. Also, the display will offer 120Hz refresh rate support. For optics, the Pixel Fold will reportedly house three cameras on the back.

This triple rear camera setup features a Sony IMX787 main sensor. Also, the handset will have an ultrawide Sony IMX386 sensor. Lastly, the Pixel Fold could house a Samsung S5K3J1 telephoto camera. Likewise, the inner display will get a Sony IMX355 sensor for capturing selfies.

The cover screen will have a Samsung S5K3J1 sensor. Meanwhile, a 9To5Google report suggests the side edge of the Pixel Fold will have a fingerprint scanner. The resolution of the cover screen will be 1080 x 2100 pixels. The report also suggests the Google Pixel Fold launch will take place in March 2023.
