Extreme sports addicts, this is for you! The latest GoPro Hero6 Black is now official bringing some impressive features and certain much need upgrades to the previous model.

The new model now supports 60fps recording at 4K resolution (double what the previous Black could achieve), using a custom GP1 processor which enables the higher frame rates. As always the model can still record in lower resolutions (1080p / 240fps and 2.7K / 120fps video), while offering a much improved Electronic Image Stabilization at up to 4K / 30fps and 1080p / 120fps.

The new on board processor can offer improved dynamic range and low-light performance, while offering more or less the same battery life as its predecessor - but with much better resolution videos. The new GoPro Hero6 also has faster Wi-Fi, now working on the 5GHz bands to speed up transfers, a built-in GPS, complete waterproof capabilities and a 2” LCD screen.
If you're ready to ditch your old action camera for this beauty, you can find it already available $500 (€570), while the older Hero5 Black model has a significant price drop to $400 (€470).
I'd better grab one, winter is coming and my snowboard is screaming!
