It seems like domestic Chinese phone makers are attempting to compete with CES today, as we have yet another newly launch phone, this time in the shape of a 5.7-inch Galaxy Note clone for $200!
Calling the HiWave H14 a Galaxy Note 2 clone might not be all that fair. Of course there is the unmistakable Samsung design, but the H14 measures in at a little bigger and doesn't get the same quad-core internals as the Korean phone.
Instead the HiWave H14 makes use of the budget performance offered by the dual-core MT6577 Mediatek chip with the, now seemingly generic, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
Some great stand-out features the H14 offers over rival big screen phones is the use of a 1280 x 720 HD display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 3200mAh battery and 8 mega-pixel rear camera.
Pricing for the phablet style H14 is a very affordable 1399 Yuan which roughly converts to a wallet friendly $224!
