As well as launching the waterproof Huawei Glory 3, Huawei also launched a tiny, quad-core Android STB called the MediaQ M310.
Rumours that Huawei had a new Android set top box had been reported over the past few weeks, but it was a surprise when they launched the Huawei MeidaQ M310 last yesterday without prior notice.
Huawei haven’t divulged the actual hardware but they have mentioned a few features which include an energy efficient Cortex A9 quad-core processor with 16 core GPU, support for 19 video codecs as standard and an Airplay style streaming feature.
Pricing has not been confirmed and it isn’t believed the MediaQ M310 will go on sale for a while just yet.
