The aforesaid smartphone is likely to hit the store shelves in India before Diwali. Some sources have just confirmed that the Lava AGNI 5G smartphone will launch on November 9. The company's official YouTube channel accidentally revealed the November 9 launch date in a now-deleted video.
Diwali will be celebrated in India on November 4. In other words, Lava will be unveiling its new 5G smartphone after the five-day festival comes to an end. The hype surrounding the upcoming Lava smartphone skyrocketed when the Lava AGNI 5 product page accidentally surfaced online. It was leaked by the company itself. As expected, the leaked product page divulges some important information about the upcoming smartphone. For instance, it confirms that the phone will launch with the Lava AGNI 5G moniker.
Lava AGNI 5G Specifications
Noted leaker Abhishek Yadav took to his Twitter account on October 27 to share the pricing details about the upcoming smartphone. Aside from that, he divulged some key specifications of the handset. The Lava Agni 5G seems to sport a modern outward appearance. The phone's design does not align with the company's earlier dull-looking handsets. Moreover, the smartphone will sport a display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. This display will be surrounded by thin bezels. It will also have a punch-hole cutout at the top to accommodate the front shooter.

On the photography front, the Lava AGNI 5G smartphone houses three cameras at the back. This rear-mounted camera setup comprises a 64MP main camera and a couple of other sensors. Regrettably, details about the camera combo are still scarce because Lava has taken down the product page. However, before it was taken down, MySmartPrice's Shubham Dutt discovered that it would pack a 5,000mAh battery. Unfortunately, details about its fast charging capabilities are few and far between.
Other Key Details
Furthermore, the phone will be packing Dimensity 810 SoC from MediaTek. The processor will be paired with a decent 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM. Aside from that, the phone is likely to support storage expansion. The Lava AGNI 5G smartphone will run Android 11 OS out of the box with the company's custom skin probably on top. The phone is also likely to come with a myriad of pre-installed apps. The handset isn't likely to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, it could come with a single speaker at the bottom.
