Lenovo S660 receives network license after MWC launch

Lenovo managed to get the timing right with the launch of the entry-level Lenovo S660 as the phone just appeared today with a Network License.

Lenovo launched a trio of smartphones at MWC yesterday, the cheapest being the Lenovo S660 which will go on sale in the U.S for around $229. The S660 will also be available here in China and has just received a Network License allowing the phone to officially go on sale.

As announced at MWC, the Lenovo S660 has a 4.7-inch 960 x 540 resolution display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, SD memory expansion for 32GB cards, 8 mega-pixel main camera, 3000mAh battery and a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor.

No word on pricing in China but expect prices to be slightly less than 1400 Yuan.
