New market reasearch reports by IDC and Gartner are telling an interesting tale, one that has Chinese largest PC maker overtaking Dell as the 2nd largest supplier of PC's in the world!
According to the report Lenovo eventually overtook Dell in the third quarter of this year with a massive world market share of 13.5%-13.7% (depending on which report you read)
Surprisingly HP, who dumped its tablet business earlier this year and are still considering throwing the PC towel in too, have maintained number 1 with a market share of 17.7% .
Lenovo's growth is thanks partly to the firms dedication to the Android operating system which has seen them produce some of the best value Android tablets seen so far, a good example being the Lenovo A1, a 7-inch Android tablet with Gingerbread 2.3 O.S, dual cameras and GPS starting at only $199.
