It's been a while since arguably Lenovo's best looking phone, the Vibe X2 went on sale in markets like China and India. However, the Chinese market only saw the device in TD-SDCMA avatar. Until now!
As you might already know, TD-SDCMA is what China Mobile uses for its 3G networks across China. Devices that work only on TD-SDCMA do not work with other carriers in China. What's more important is that a lot of international markets have adopted the WCDMA protocol, so this means that China Mobile devices aren't any use to buyers in those markets. However, now that the Vibe X2 has been listed in WCDMA, buyers in other countries can expect re-sellers to offer the phone soon.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 was first showcased at the IFA in Berlin, where Lenovo claimed it to be the 'first smartphone with a layered design'. Fortunately for Lenovo, the design caught the fancy of many a buyer, and turned out to be an instant hit. Besides the eye-catching design, the Lenovo Vibe X2 boasts the MediaTek MT6595m processor, 2GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1080p display.
