List Of Android Devices Updated With Project Treble So Far

One advantage that iOS has over Android is the issue of fragmentation which delays updates from OEMs especially when there is a high level of customization on the user interface. Some time ago, Android provided a solution to this problem with Project Treble. This solution ensures that the operating system is divided into two with one part dedicated to the core OS while the other is for the customizations implemented by OEMs. With this, manufacturers do not have to modify the entire OS before releasing updates thus it will enhance the speed at which OEMs releases updates.

However, there are only a handful of Android smartphones which has been updated with Project Treble and XDA-Developers put together a list of the devices that support this feature so far. The list includes the following handsets: Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 10 Lite, Honor 7X, Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9, Honor 9i, Huawei P10, Huawei P10 Lite, Huawei P10 Plus, Asus Zenfone 4, Razer Phone and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. In addition, all Android devices that come with Oreo out of the box already support Project Treble.
