MeeGoPad returns with the all new MeeGoPad T02 (Compute Stick rival)

The world went abuzz when Intel announced the Compute Stick, a thumb drive sized personal computer (minus the I/O hardware). Not many knew about the MeeGoPad T01 which had been existing in the market a few months prior to the announcement of the Compute Stick.

We also happened to review the MeeGoPad T01 and found it to be a decent work computer. However, the device was plagued with legal issues, because of the fact that it came with unlicensed Windows. MeeGoPad resurrected the T01 a little later with a higher price and legit Windows 8.1 license, but that was probably a little too late.

The company is back with another iteration of the mini PC, in the MeeGoPad T02. This stick essentially sports a very similar design but comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing, which as you might know, is a free-to-license version of Windows with slight changes.

The underlying internals too are quite the same in an Intel Z3735F SoC, 2GB RAM, and 32GB ROM. US$109 is what this version sells for on AliExpress... not a great price for the specs, but something you perhaps won't mind paying if similar devices like the Pipo X7S are too large for your usage.
