Meizu MX3 gets a price cut in China; Now costs just $288

Not that $320 was a bad price to pay for a phone as beautiful as the Meizu MX3, but thanks to the growing competition, the Zhuhai based maker gave it's current flagship a price-cut.

Devices from manufacturers like Xiaomi and OPPO are known to get price cuts on a regular basis. If you remember, the uber popular Xiaomi Mi2S turned into quite a sweet deal a few moths back as well. Then there's the OnePlus phenomenon lurking over the head of Chinese manufacturers; a Snapdragon 801 powered phone for $300 is pretty revolutionary, and such reaction from other makers was well, on the cards.

The Meizu MX3, launched in September last year, comes with a 5.1-inch 1800 x 1080p display, an Exynos 5410 processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8 mega-pixel Sony main camera and a 2400mAh non-removable battery.

At 1799 Yuan, the MX3 makes for a sweet deal. That is, if you're not into what would require the services of say a Snapdragon 801 and the likes.
