Meizu’s Jack Wong confirms the Meizu MX4 will use octacore LTE processor

Jack Wong has gone on the record and confirmed that his companies next flagship phone, the Meizu MX4 will continue to rock a octacore Samsung processor.

There has been a lot of speculation to where Meizu will be sourcing their next generation processor from. There have been rumours of a Mediatek partnership and talk of a Qualcomm chip but it is Samsung who have managed to attack Meizu once again.

For the Meizu MX4 flagship phone Meizu have confirmed that they will use a Samsung Exynos 5430 processor which boasts a BIG.little make up featuring 4 x 1.5Ghz A7 cores and 4 x A15 cores. The Exynos 5430 will also be the first 64bit chip from the Korean Electronics giant, that can handle displays of up to 2560 x 1440 resolution and have 4G LTE support.

Apparently the Meizu MX4 will ship with Android 4.4 Kitkat and will go on sale as early as June this year!
