India's Micromax has outed the Canvas LapTab, a tablet that marries Windows with Android.
Micromax will be showcasing the Canvas LapTab -- a tablet that switches between Android and Windows at your command -- at the CES in the coming days. To be specific, the Canvas LapTab will have the ability to boot into Windows 8.1 and Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Basic aim is to offer buyers some OS flexibility, eliminating the need of committing just to one OS.
The Canvas LapTab will come with a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, along with dual 2 mega-pixel cameras on the front and rear of the device. Powered by an Intel processor clocked 1.46GHz, the device will feature 2GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage, and draw juice from a 7400mAh battery. No word on pricing yet, but the device is expected to hit shelves and online listings in India beginning next month.
