At the HDC 2020 Developer Conference in September, Huawei officially launched the Harmony 2.0 system. It boasts of many functions such as cross-device collaboration, large and small screen interaction, fast network distribution, and visual and speaking AI-enabled voice interaction.
At the conference, Huawei announced that the first batch of companies supporting the Harmony system are Midea, Joyoung, and Boss Electric.
Today, according to Midea Group, its products with Harmony OS will come on Double Eleven. These products include dishwashers, electric water heaters, gas water heaters, water purifiers, and smart stoves.
This product portfolio can be cross-border interconnected with the Huawei Mate 40 series smartphones, bringing users a new interactive experience in life scenarios.
From the poster, we can see that the upper part of the poster shows the Mate 40 Pro. In the middle, there is a ripple of water. And the lower part carries a nice smart home product. Through the ripples and the slogan, it is not difficult to see that this ‘touch’ control is the main way of interacting with the smart home products.
What Does Harmony OS Bring To Midea Smart Home Products?
Midea’s upcoming Aurora set will have an optical color plating process. It presents an unpredictable gradual magical visual effect in different optical scenes.
The ‘new home appliances’ launched by Midea have brought three major improvements. The first is the fast distribution network. As long as you touch your smartphone screen, you can realize the 3-second network distribution of the device based on the WiFi Aware network configuration protocol. The second is the screen-less operation, which can directly realize the real-time device status monitoring through the smartphone function interface. This includes operating status, consumables reminder, etc. The third is direct service. With the touch of your smartphone, you can enjoy one-click direct-to-factory services such as cleaning, repairing, and purchasing consumables.
We also want to remind you that just recently OPPO and Midea formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. In the era of integration of all things, enterprises need to provide users with products and services with new experiences. On the one hand, they need to make continuous breakthroughs in integration technology. On the other hand, they also need industry chain partners to conduct open cooperation. Therefore, both parties hope to create a seamless smart life experience for users.
