Mlais MX28 will cost just $81

Mlais, better know for the Samsung inspired phablets, are launching a new low-cost phone with original design costing just $81!

Current Mlais phones are far from original so it makes for a nice change to see the company announce a new phone with a low price tag and all new design. The Mlais MX28 will go on sale in China for just 499 Yuan ($81) and feats a 5-inch 960 x 540 display, 1GB RAM, 2500mAh battery and 8 mega-pixel rear camera.

Mlais have managed to keep performance on par with similar phones by launching the phone with the new quad-core MT6582M processor which we have seen in use in the Zopo ZP700 and new JiaYu G2F.
