New Galaxy Buds patent hit the web - may support active noise reduction

Samsung may be developing a new Galaxy Buds headset. According to a recent patent document, this headset seems to adopt a new style. The new headset is completely different from the previous design and will use a long bar design. A recent patent filed by Samsung with the Korean Intellectual Property Office describes a true wireless headset with a long neck. This design brings the microphone closer to the user's mouth, thereby improving call quality. Recall that this was a problem for Samsung's first Galaxy Buds.

It can be seen from the rendering that the body of the headset suggests that it should be a Galaxy Bud. It has a triangular surface area, which should be touch-sensitive. The expectation is that it can answer calls, play and pause music, and activate the voice assistant. You can also notice a gap in the outer surface of the headset, which may suggest support for active noise reduction.

The recently launched Galaxy Buds+ has a pod-like design from the original. However, Samsung made some improvements to the microphone for voice calls. This is likely to be a patent for Samsung's third-generation Galaxy Buds. As of now, there is no official specs or launch date for this device.
