Nexus 5 leaked in Google’s Android KitKat video

Earlier today Google announced the next instalment of the Android operating system, Android 4.4 KitKat, and they may have also accidentally leaked the Nexus 5 in the process.

During the unveiling of the new Android Kitkat statue at Google, a promotional video was made showing the festivities. Eagle eye’d viewers of the video noticed something odd around 38 seconds in (see photo above), as one of the bystanders is holding a mystery Nexus device.

Handily the image also has the current Nexus 4 shown too and we can see that the new device is larger in size, has the ‘new’ Nexus logo, larger camera lens and an LG logo! Google have now marked the video as private, but The Verge have reposted it and you can watch it below.

Nexus 5 spotted in leaked video

Both Google and LG have not make any comment about the device in the video.
