No invites, Killer Spec, International Availability, and Low Price, the Xodiom looks to good to be true

Cutting through the marketing bull, Xodiom have hit the web with bold claims, international availability and a low price of only $329.99. Real or scam?

We don’t know how Xodiom are and we don’t know where they are from, but if their first phone is real they could be on a journey to disrupt the smartphone industry.

Xodiom didn’t go down the viral marketing path to announce their new phone, but simply launched a site and are relying on word of mouth to grab customers.

So what makes the Xodiom so special? Well the phone comes with a Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB RAM, 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled display, and 16 mega-pixel camera. The body (similar to the Meizu MX4 Pro) has slim bezels, 6.6mm body and 3200mAh battery.

There is a heart monitor, LTE support for pretty much every network, and even a custom version of Android 5 called xOS!

What’s more the phone is available for pre-order on the Xodiom site now and available internationally. The company even take a crack at OnePlus by telling us:

At $329 for the 32GB and $379 for the 64GB and free express shipping the device is very appealing. Even I headed straight for the buy button!

I didn’t pull the trigger on the purchase though as it really does seem to good to be true! Also the only payment options are Bitcoin and International bank transfer, and there would be simply no way to get your money back if this were a scam.

So is the xodiom interesting? Yes, very much so. But the real question is the phone genuine or just a clever scam to trick you in to shelling out 300 bucks? We don’t know.
