Alleged Nokia X certified by TENAA

HMD Global will be hosting a launch event in China on May 16 where it is expected to launch a new Android Powered Smartphone purportedly dubbed Nokia X or Nokia X6. Several reports in the past have exposed the Nokia X or Nokia X6 specs and photos, and now, as we edge closer to the May 16 launch date, the alleged Nokia X or Nokia X6 smartphone with model number Nokia TA-1099 has appeared on TENAA, a telecom regulatory body from China for the usual certification.

The design of the alleged Nokia X seen in the photos is similar to previously leaked ones, and as you would notice, it will feature a bezel-less display with the irregular screen notch at the top, dual rear camera setup with LED flash, rear fingerprint scanner, while the rear appears to be made of a glass and metal body combo.

The Nokia X, as hinted previously and now confirmed through TENAA listing would come with a 5.8-inch screen with a 2280×1080 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and would be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor, which might likely be the Snapdragon 636 chipset. The device will come in three RAM variants: 3GB, 4GB and 6GB and with two internal storage options: 32GB and 64GB which can further be expanded up to 128GB.

A 16MP Dual-Camera setup is expected to adorn the rear with a fingerprint sensor, while a single 16MP front shooter sits above the display. Nokia X will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will be energized by a 3000mAh battery.

We should know more details about the alleged Nokia X with model number Nokia TA-1099 when the phone gets official in few days time.
