Yesterday, we learned that the Nubia Z40S Pro will be uncovered on July 20. It’s been promised that July will be hot, and now, we see that it is. A number of outstanding smartphones are launched one after another. In this sense, the upcoming Nubia model has no reason to be shy. The core selling points of this smartphone are going to be the straight screen with ultra-narrow bezels and the imaging lens.
Nubia Z40S Pro Camera
Generally, the camera will be the main highlight of the device. Regarding this feature, Nubia’s Weibo post reads:
“Humanistic street photography, one step faster. Nubia Z40S Pro with a physical sliding key, specially customized for flash photography. With a flick of a switch, direct access to the street photography interface, instantly record the wonderful things you see, a flash of inspiration is coming!”
Prior to this, we knew that the device will come with a 35mm main camera lens as well as a 125mm telephoto sensor. Today, we learned about the third camera, which is a 50MP wide-angle AF lens that also supports 2cm macro photography.

There is a flicker sensor to effectively suppress photo flicker everywhere. This will provide a studio-level photography experience, making every photography purer.
Besides this, the Nubia Z40S will also adopt a new RAW domain night view algorithm and 3D Lut custom filters. The former will effectively improve the brightness of the picture and the resolution of the dark part. Also, it can restore the color information of the photo taken in low-light conditions.
It turns out that the Nubia Z40S Pro also puts a physical sliding button on it. The latter will allow users to quickly take pictures.
Inside, this handset will host the most powerful chipset in the Android camp, that is, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. So this smartphone is going to struggle against other flagships launched in the second half of the year.
