Octaocore, on-the-cheap! $190 Note 3 clone with MT6592 processor!

We are still at the start of the year, but already prices of Octacore Android phones are dropping to incredible levels such as this 5.5-inch, $190 Note 3 wannabe!

This year manufacturers have been faster at adoption the new octacore MT6592 processor, and much more generous when passing on savings to customers. As many of the first octacore phones are updated versions of quad-core 2013 models, prices have been able to scale down much faster than ever before.

This, the OrientPhone N8800, is the second sub $200 octacore smartphone we have seen in the past week. Sharing it’s design with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 means the factory producing the phone have saved money on design costs, and are able to offer the phone at a low international price!

The 5.5-inch display and 1.7Ghz Octacore processor are the main features of the Orientphone N8800, there are a few other noteworthy functions though including dual SIM, gesture control and included cover with smart notification window.

Orientdeal state that the N8800 will work on WCDMA 850/2100mhz, and GSM frequencies 850/900/1800/1900mhz. Other details include 1GB RAM, 5 mega-pixel main camera, SD memory expansion and generous 3400mAh battery.
