OnePlus X getting OxygenOS 2.2.0 with new features

The OnePlus X has managed to become my daily driver ever since it arrived all those months ago, so I am pretty excited about today OxygenOS update.

I’ve enjoyed using my OnePlus X so much that I haven’t touched my OP2 since it arrived on my desk. The phone isn’t for everyone, but for me it does what it does and looks pretty good doing it too.

Although it’s been fun using the OPX, I have missed a few of the features that the OP2 has had for a while such as the manual mode in the camera app, so I’m pretty happy that the new update will bring this feature.

OxygenOS 2.2.0 will also allow users to save photos to an SD card from the camera app, fix USSD bugs for users in India plus a few more nice touches:

  • Manual mode for Camera App
  • Save to SD card option in Camera App
  • USSD bug fix for India
  • Added dual SIM preferences back in system settings
  • OTA App upgrade
  • Security patches
  • General bug fixes and optimizations

The update began rolling out earlier today and may take a while to get to everyone.
