Oppo Find 9 spotted in SIRIM certification

2 years in the making the Oppo Find 9, currently known as the Oppo X9009 has been seen again this time via Malyasia’s SIRIM certification process.

Generally smartphone makers release a flagship Android phone each year, but it has been 2 years since the Oppo Find 7 released! Finally though the Find 9 looks set to launch and once again 2 variants of the phone are believed to be hitting stores soon.

How soon? Well apparently we could see the Oppo Find 9 launch in March in China, Malaysia and other Asian markets while an international launch should be some months later.

Apparently the Oppo Find 9 will be offered in both 2K and 1920 x 1080 variants with up to 6GB RAM, USB Type C and a Snapdragon 820 chipset.

In fact it seems highly likely that the use of a Snapdragon 820 is the major reason why it has taken so long for a new flagship from Oppo to arrive. Although not confirmed, it is widely believed that Oppo tested the water with the Snapdragon 810 with the OnePlus 2, and may have decided to postpone the Find 9 release until a more worthwhile SoC was on the market.

Later this month Oppo are set to launch a new camera technology and charging solution, features that we expect the Oppo Find 9 to receive.

Specs for the Find 9 are likely to be a Snapdragon 820, 6GB RAM, 5.5-inch display, fingerprint scanner, USB Type C, VOOC wireless fast charging, possible dual rear camera and Color OS based Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

What do you think of those details?
