Oppo K1 dual rear camera setup, and on-screen fingerprint sensor officially announced

Oppo has just unveiled the Oppo K1, the company's latest premium mid-range smartphone as expected. The company earlier today officially listed the device for pre-order at 1599 yuan ($231) for the 4GB+64GB variant and 1,799 yuan ($259) for the 6GB+64GB.

Flaunting a 6.4-inch 2340x1080px Super AMOLED display, the Oppo K1 is powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, both with 64GB of storage. The device gets a notch, however, its major highlight goes beyond the notch on the display. The Oppo K1 ditches the rear fingerprint sensor for an on-screen fingerprint sensor, effectively making it one of the cheapest around in its category. The water drop notch houses a 25MP selfie shooter with a 16MP+2MP dual rear combo with AI

The downside? the Oppo K1 comes fitted with a 3,500mAh battery with no fast charging, while it sadly boots Android 8.1 coupled with Oppo's Color OS 5.2.
