Chinese phone developer Oppo has continued to increase its overseas presence by releasing its flagship phone, the Oppo N1 in Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. Currently it appears the Oppo N1 is only available in Vietnam but Indonesia and Thailand are expected to get the device by Dec. 16th.
In Vietnam the device is selling for 12.69 million VND (601USD, 437EUR) and comes with the O-click remote and a free case. In case you are new to Chinese devices or have been living under a rock for the past few months, the Oppo N1 is one of the most powerful Chinese phones on the market and has been making serious headway overseas, being recently released in both Europe and the U.S. It contains the Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.7 Ghz, 2GB of RAM, the Adreno 320 GPU, an 1080x1920 fullHD 5.9-inch screen and a 13MP camera that rotates 270 degrees. It also features a touch sensative back panel allowing for certain actions from behind the screen and the O-click device which can fit on a key chain and connects to the N1 via Bluetooth.
Internationally, Oppo N1 users get to choose between having their device preloaded with the popular community built Cyanogenmod Android ROM or Oppo's own ColorOS ROM. There doesn't currently appear to be a Cyanogenmod option for Vietnamese customers, so presumably the N1 will ship with ColorOS.
